Nov 30, 2012 Was wondering if anybody knew how the 'pressure type' oiler works on an LX-30 Bandit. The tank has a duckbill on it and a hose goes from the bottom of the tank, thru a hole at the top, and straight to the bar. No pumps, no primer bulbs. I don't get it. I know that this is a cheapy Homelite, but the oiler seems like a horrible design. More than 25 popular chain saw brands and 800 models are covered in this manual. This manual covers models produced through 1998. See Models Covered for a complete list. This chainsaw service manual is 616 pages. Clymer ProSeries Manuals provide coverage for many product manufacturers where there is no longer any source of technical information. Here's another recent acquisition. Super low hours (the top of the piston is still shiny!) and completely original. The UT tag was removed by the previous owner, which sucks, but I know what it is based on the odd air filter. This saw is unique in that the only oil pump is the bulb on the oil cap. I'm also looking for an original bar with the 'Bandit' script if anyone has one laying around.
